Project co-financing: Alo and Informer have received a total of 21.4 million so far in media competitions.

Based on the competition for project co-financing of media content in Serbia for the year 2026, funds have so far been distributed to 28 local governments, amounting to a total of over 355 million dinars.

Project co-financing: Alo and Informer have received a total of 21.4 million so far in media competitions.

Four local governments are still delayed in announcing the competitions for this year, as the deadline was March 1. These are Surdulica, Vrbas, Gadžin Han, and Lučani.

According to the analysis by the Association of Independent Electronic Media (ANEM) on the first 28 completed media competitions, the most funding was awarded to Radio Television Pančevo – a total of 21.8 million dinars, specifically in the local governments of Pančevo and Bački Petrovac. Nearly 20 million from the previous competitions went to RTV Novi Pazar and Televizija Pirot, while Vranjska Plus, RTV Vranje, RTV Kruševac, and RTV Caribrod received between 10 and 15 million dinars.

Looking at ownership, media companies from the group of Radoica Milosavljević have so far received the most funding from the public budget – a total of 48,650,000 dinars for RTV Kruševac, TV Pirot, TV Leskovac, RTV Caribrod, and TV Požega.

On the other hand, tabloid publishers Alo and Informer, who have a record of violating the Journalists' Code of Serbia, – Alo Media System and Insajder Team together with their subsidiary companies have received a total of 24.4 million dinars from the previous competitions.

Insajder Team received two million dinars in Vršac, while Alo Media System received a total of 3.5 million dinars in Kragujevac, Pančevo, and Vršac.

Their joint subsidiary company, Best Media Team, which has acquired several local media outlets in Serbia since the beginning of the year, has so far won 11.9 million dinars in media competitions in Užice, Nova Varoš, Požega, Kragujevac, and Gornji Milanovac. This has been distributed so far as follows: 7.2 million dinars for TV-5 Užice, 5,750,000 dinars for Konzum Lav Čačak, and 1,950,000 dinars for the Informational Center Priboj.

INI Media, which is co-owned by Alo Media System and is the publisher of the television and portal NišTV, has received one million dinars for project co-financing of media content in Pirot to date.

Interestingly, Zaple Media Group, which only launched several local media outlets at the beginning of this year, where the editor-in-chief is Gradimir Banković from the Center for Social Stability, has received support for two projects so far – 2.1 million dinars in Užice and one million dinars in Požega.
