Surdulica has finally completed the media competition for the year 2024.

The resolution states that a total of 1.5 million dinars has been allocated for media content, specifically: 300,000 for Surdulica Radio Television, 170,000 each for Zona Plus from Niš, Vranjska Plus, RTV Vranje, and TV Info Puls Vranje, 120,000 for the company Ritam from Vranje, and 100,000 each for Helloanimation Manuela Radojković from Niš, the Koštana portal from Vranje, the Information and Development Center of Surdulica, and the Center for Culture, Information, and Protection of the Rights of National Minorities Razvitie.

A total of 17 projects were submitted for the competition, and the commission that evaluated the applications consisted of Miodrag Miljković, Slobodan Radičević, and Slavoljub Ristić.

The municipality of Surdulica is the only one that has not yet announced the competition for project co-financing of media content for 2025, and as of September 8, ANEM's inquiry regarding when this will happen has not received a response.

It is worth noting that, aside from Surdulica where the competition has not been announced, funds for media projects this year are yet to be distributed in six other local governments: Čačak, Gadžin Han, Sjenica, Vrbas, Preševo, and Bujanovac, which recently canceled and announced a new competition.

The municipality of Lazarevac has canceled its competition but has not announced a new one to date.
